I am glad

An ex-student from River Valley High added me on Facebook and boy has she grown. She reminded me so much of myself when I was fourteen. It was three years ago when I was doing my short stint as a history teacher there. She was a tom-boy and honestly, quite disruptive during class but I like her humor. Now she's takng her A-levels and she loves History. I know I flatter myself too much, but I am so proud that she loves history! I hope whereever the road takes her she will always find her passion and pursue it!

Wow, it is moments like this that one feels that one has done something worthwhile whether it be directly or indirectly, there is some one else in this world who has crossed my path and I hope that I had made a good impact.
